Click here to share my iGoogle tab for "The Ultimate Search for Bourne with Google"

See "The Ultimate Search for Bourne" on your Google homepage »

You might be thinking to yourself... What in the world is he talking about??

You may or may not be familiar with iGoogle. iGoogle is a customized search page. It is a cool little web portal that you can customize. There are hundreds of "gadget" modules that do everything from report the weather to check your email for you. Now as a part of the Ultimate Search for Bourne with Google game, brought to you by Universal and Google, you can snap in a special gadget that helps you play the game.

In addition to creating one customized search page you can create several pages all linked together as tabs that are a part of your iGoogle experience. One nifty feature of the page is that you can share tabs that you create with others. I created a tab with all the tools that I will be using to play the game. I will update this site as well ashttp://theworldofbourne.blogspot.com when I make salient changes.

Feel free to use the iGoogle tab that I create for playing the Ultimate Search for Bounre with Google.

4th Clue from Vosen - USFBwG

Today on the iGoogle Ultimate Search for Bourne with Google Gadget the clue from Vosen is:

"On July 16th the search is on."

This isn't very ground breaking but I had the thought that if this contest is taking place in 7 countries the ones that are in the far east may have the clues released to them early.

The 7 countries that are part of the contest with there time zones are:

United States GMT +5, +6, +7
Canada (ex Quebec) GMT +5, +6, +7
United Kingdom GMT +zero
France GMT +1
Germany GMT +1
Australia GMT +7, +8, +8:45, +9:30, +10, +10:30
New Zealand +12, +12:45

The Game Start Mon July 16, Track, Sovle, Win

The Game is Tracking Bourne and Solving Clues

A ZDnet Article published yesterday had this to say about "The Ultimate Search for Bourne""

"The third Bourne film, which stars Matt Damon and opens August 3, features a Google placement.

The game, inspired by all three Bourne films, launches Monday (July 16) in seven countries and incorporates a sweepstakes element. Players will assume the identity of a former CIA operative as they track rogue agent Jason Bourne across three continents and solve clues that bring them closer to uncovering Bourne's identity. The game can be played at www.google.com/bourne until the film's release and will include exclusive clips from Bourne Ultimatum."

In addition the article mentions that Google, Search, Images, Maps and YouTube will be used in the search. Participants in the search will be privy to exclusive preview footage of the film.

They keep using the word "game" Those of us who are serious are calling it a search.

Search for Bourne

Universal Studios and Google have teamed up to bring us "The Ultimate Search for Bourne with Google". As a fan of the franchise I started this blog as a repository for the information that I gather about the contest, and as a forum to hear from other fans of Bourne. My full fan site can be seen at http://theworldofbourne.blogspot.com.
